Dr. Patty Diaz
Patty Diaz was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. In 1991, Patty earned her bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University (NAU). Her 25 years in higher education have focused on educational partnerships promoting collaboration, outreach, and program development by collaborating with community colleges, government agencies as well as school districts in Southern Arizona. Patty has been dedicated to increasing the number of diverse college students; increasing student access, retention, and success; and helping adult learners graduate with a high-quality education. Currently, Patty is serving as the Southeastern Regional Director for Business and Educational Partnerships with NAU and oversees initiatives to advance academic programs, and degree programming to increase student access and degree completion. Patty completed her master’s degree in educational leadership in 1996 and her Doctorate Degree in Higher Education Administration in 2021, both from NAU.
